Studies in Texas, Washington State, and England have shown that employees working in environments with plants were 12 percent more productive than those not exposed to interior plants. Additionally, plants have been shown to reduce employee absenteeism by 14 percent. If you are looking for ways to keep your employees happy and working hard- adding interior plants is worth your while.

A visually appealing office is no doubt a more pleasant place to work. When comparing the costs of office décor with interior plants, plants almost always come in with the lower price tag. If you weren’t blessed with a green thumb-don’t stress. Surely some of your employees might enjoy taking care of the plants. Having a plant in the office to take care of might bring people together, which in turn will produce a better working environment.

All of these factors are what led us to our idea for a holiday gift for our members: succulents!

We decided upon succulents not only because they are a good-looking plant, but also, because they come in all different shapes, sizes, and colors, but they also are low maintenance. To know when to water your succulent-you’ll want to wait until the soil is completely dried out. After a couple weeks, you will get a feel for how long this might take.

Here at SnapSuites, we also like to support local businesses, so we decided to purchase our succulents through Niche Boston. They have an ever changing selection of succulents, in addition to their other host of plants and gardening supplies. Thank you Niche for helping us give our members such lively and uplifting holiday gifts!

Happy Holidays Everyone!
